Received this blue ink signed card IP. This was during one of Wayne Gretzky's Celebrity Tennis Tournaments in the 80's. They had tables set up outdoors and various celebrities rotated through and signed autographs. I was in a short line for Duguay. He was smiling before I handed him the card but he took one look and did not seem pleased. He was telling me that it was part of the rookie hazing. I said something to the fact that his hair had grown out fine. It's always nice to have a little anecdote to go with the card. There was also a rumour about some fight with Lafleur involving Cheryl Tiegs. I could not get it confirmed but the story was flying around the Sunday morning.
I always wondered why Duguay's hair was short in that photograph. Also kind of ironic that Duguay would join Gretzky on the Kings a few years later.
