Defenceman Dave Feamster played parts of four seasons with the Chicago Black Hawks in the 1980s. Although he had a decent shot from the point he was utilized in a stay-at-home role on Chicago. Feamster played 78 games for the Hawks in 1982-83 when they recorded 104 points and reached the semifinals for the second straight year. Injuries reduced his load to 46 games the next season then he only played 16 contests in 1984-85 before he was forced to retire
