Sept 5--Dave Dryden

I'm back. I will again be trying to post autographed items for a player who is celebrating a birthday for each dayof the month.

Dave Dryden

 Loaned by OHA Toronto Marlboros to New York Rangers to replace injured Gump Worsley in the second period of NHL game, February 3, 1962.
 Signed as a free agent by Chicago Black Hawks, March 12, 1965.

Dave Dryden serves the distinction of creating (as well as being the first goaltender to employ) the modern day goaltending mask consisting of a fiberglass mask with a cage.

He was the goalie against whom Wayne Gretzky scored his first professional goal

On March 20, 1971, in a game between his Sabres and the Montreal Canadiens, Dave faced his brother Ken, the only time in the history of the NHL that brothers opposed each other as goalies.

Received these blue ink signed cards TTM along with his business card.
