Hockey Hall of Fame inducted it's newest members: Gordie Howe, Jean Beliveau, Bernie Geoffrion, Hap Holmes, Reg "Hooley" Smith and builder Weston Adams. Howe would return to the NHL in 1979-80 to play one final season.
