Edmonton Oilers recorded their first NHL victory, 6-3 over the Quebec Nordiques. Blair MacDonald led the scoring with his first career hat trick and added an assist to lead the scoring.

Lowes Canada and the Community Rink Reno Program
Lowes Canada's donation. along with city matched funds, spurred the first major renovation to Brantford's Lions Park Arena in 10 years.
Wendel Clark appeared as celebrity spokesman for Lowes. Here are the items I got signed. These are for sets that I'm working on.
