This Day in NHL History 1993
June 25
NY Rangers acquired goalie Glen Healy from Tampa Bay in exchange for a 1993 3rd round draft pick. In addition the Rangers obtained Doug Lidster from Vancouver to complete an earlier deal for John Vanbiesbrouck.
Healy and Lidster are two of my favorite Ranger 'spare parts' players. They both helped out in the playoffs when my Rangers won the Cup. Healy may be the only guy in sports who was property of four different teams in 24 hours.
