#walletcard goes outside this week and goes shopping again
Here's Rick helping me pick up some food up and also help me win a contest. I got a free coupon to pick up these Lou's meals, take a picture in the store and submit a picture eating the meal. This could be worth a $500.00 gift card. Maybe Rick and I don't win #walletcard but maybe free food.

Toronto traded Darryl Sittler to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Rich Costello, a second round draft pick in 1982 (Peter Ihnacak), and future considerations (Ken Strong).
After spending the week stuck inside my wallet, it was time for #walletcard to venture outdoors. Time to get some groceries at The Brantford Farmers market. We get most of our fruits and vegetable there. Here, Rick was inspecting the heads of lettuce to make the salad. Not very exciting for the first time out but hey, we did get out.

Oops, wrong one. This is the one my wife says I have.
This is a Tilley--Genuine Leather-Made in Canada wallet. It has lots of wear and has plenty of room to house my card.
Usually full of plastic, credit and bank cards and loyalty cards. Right now, some Christmas money left to spend.
And the honour goes to

Former Leafs captain and first in franchise history to score 50 goals in a season. I'm mainly a hockey guy (baseball, read Blue Jays, is secondary) That's enough for me to want this card to share my journey this year.
And the first stop is my workplace. Since I'm now working from home, the commute is short and the wear and tear on Mr. Vaive is minimal.
Now, back into the wallet. The visit is over and I have work to do.
First off, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. 2015, halfway into the decade. It seems like just yesterday when we were worried about Y2K. If you are too young to remember, you can look it up here and see what the hysteria was all about. And to start off the year, I am now sitting at 263/267. Just to refresh your mind on my project, I'm running a This Day in NHL History (with a little WHA and Team Canada thrown in) theme. I'm trying to post an autographed card from my collection of something that occurred on that particular day. This is somewhat similar to my Todays Birthday theme from a couple of years ago. With just under 100 more days to go, my success rate is higher than I anticipated. It also got me to start using Zistleto inventory my collection. So far, it shows I have 85,519 hockey cards out of 104,480 cards input. Hope to have the rest added sometime this year. Fun times to be had. Now, this is what you've all been waiting for.
