Sept 6--Igor Korolev

Igor Korolev

Drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the 2nd round (38th overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
Center Igor Korolev had four seasons with Moscow Dynamo to his credit before the St. Louis Blues made him their first selection. Korolev began the 1992-93 with Dynamo again but after just five games he decided to cross the ocean to give the NHL a shot.

In 12 NHL seasons with the St. Louis Blues, Winnipeg Jets/Phoenix Coyotes, Toronto and the Chicago Blackhawks Korolev had 346 points (119 goals and 227 assists) in 795 games.

On the international stage, Korolev represented his homeland at the 1991 Canada Cup and the 1992 World Championships.

Received these blue sharpie signed cards IP. This was during Lef training camp in Hamilton's Copps Coliseum. Even though he was signing in a crowd, I like how he took the time to add his number to each card (and all three are different)
