Sounds of Silence

Once again, my Leafs have updated me with important information. First two weeks of regular season games have been cancelled. 82 games. One team's seasons worth. Well, one good thing. Will still be tied for first place. Something that was not wanted to be heard.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Dear AL,

Today, the National Hockey League announced the cancellation of the 2012-13 regular-season schedule through October 24. The cancellation was necessary because of the absence of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NHL Players' Association and the NHL.

We will continue to keep you informed as information becomes available and also encourage you to visit
mapleleafs.com for updates.

Sincerely,

The Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club
